A family-owned venture company

Everyday ideas, built into things people need.

Kinno Ventures works with the people who live the problems, and turns their ideas into products that industries and everyday people need before they know they need them.

Family-owned and run by the three people whose names are on it.
How an idea moves at Kinno Ventures: idea, nurture, build, launch Idea Nurture Build Launch
Every idea takes the same path: shaped with the person who had it, tested in the real world, then launched.

Collaborate. Elevate. Nurture.

We are not a factory for our own ideas. We are a place where good ideas, ours and other people's, get the structure, the backing and the patience to become real.

  • Collaborate

Work with the people who have the problem

The best ideas come from the person who lives the problem every day. We build with them, not for them, and their name stays on it.

  • Elevate

Give a good idea a path

An idea on a napkin needs structure, money, a plan and someone who has done it before. We bring those, so the idea gets a fair shot.

  • Nurture

Grow it in small, proven steps

We build in small pieces, prove each one, and reuse what works. That is how an idea survives contact with the real world.

How we work

Build it once. Prove it. Use it everywhere.

Every venture under this roof runs on the same foundation and one way of working. That is why a family this size can carry more than one idea at a time.

  • One job per piece

Each piece does one job and returns one result. Small enough to check, small enough to trust.

  • Proven once

Every piece gets checked by independent reviewers and a real-world trial before anything is built on it.

  • Reused everywhere

The pieces that work carry over to the next idea. The second product is faster than the first, and the third is faster still.

At least half of what we build gets used more than once, so the foundation comes first.

Josh Lawson, Founder and President

Bring an idea

Have an idea that would make a difference?

If you are willing to put in the work, we want to hear it. Family first, but not family only.

Send Josh a short note: the problem, who has it, and why you are the person to fix it. That is the whole application.

Bring an idea
  • A person with a problem from their own work

A trade, an office, a kitchen, a classroom. You know the problem better than anyone.

  • A small company with ambition and no runway for new ideas

You have customers and a good idea. You do not have a year to build it. We can share the build.

  • Somebody who wants to make a difference, not just a sale

We build things people actually need. If that is the goal, we will get along.

Three people, one table

Family-owned means exactly that. The people building this are the people whose names are on it.
